Haha oh dear! Upon reading the previous newsletter I immediately thought of a certain Jasmine outfit as well…
On the theme of Irish content, I have been reading Sally Rooney novels recently. Late to the party I know, but so easy to devour that I don’t ever find myself checking the page number to see how much is left!
Oh really?! Haha, I don't know how it slipped my memory. Now that I've been thinking about it, I vaguely remember there were two "Jasmines" in the class. If my memory's correct, I remember being a little jealous of the other Jasmine and her store-bought outfit. (How terrible!) Now, of course, I can see how lucky I was :)
Do you have any Book Week dress up memories? Spot springs to mind... was that you?
There's a great photo of me in a pirate costume in 1992. I was freezing cold and looked miserable but I actually loved Book Week dress ups!
Sounds like a classic picture! Great that the weather didn't turn you off Book Week forever. :)

Thanks for reading the newsletter!
My favourite book week dress-up was probably Professor Trelawney from Harry Potter - I remember it being a unique choice at the time.
